Our task was to create a chamber, charismatic interior with subtle references to Asian aesthetics.
The project is based on deep chocolate shades, an abundance of wood and natural textures. Warm terracotta colour appears in details and becomes one of the accents of the interior, and the rhythm of wooden elements connects spaces with each other. It is complemented by textured textiles, relief tiles and expressive details that you want to see up close.
The apartment was handed over with a white box finish, and the customers wanted to preserve the original layout as much as possible. It turned out to be quite successful and did not require serious interventions, so we only adjusted some doorways and furniture arrangement, focussing primarily on working with the interior itself.
It was important for us to create a coherent image of the project, so attention was paid not only to the main premises, but also to all auxiliary spaces. Materials, shades and individual techniques consistently move from one zone to another, preserving the general logic of the interior.
A special place in the project is occupied by work with details. The tact of materials always comes first for us: the texture of wood, textiles, relief surfaces, a combination of matte and more expressive elements. It is from these nuances that the character of the space is gradually formed - warm, chamber and a little graphic.
