The "Ordynka" project is a reflection of the character of our customer and his rich experience of travelling. We wanted to create an interior that, over time, could be filled with new items brought from different parts of the world, and organically accept them into its history.
The starting point of the concept was an expressive stone in the kitchen. Its palette, pattern and depth gave character to the whole space: it reads the energy of the sea and mountains, natural forces, around which the idea of a house was gradually built.
We got a bright apartment with a spacious kitchen-living room, a master block, a guest bedroom and a private terrace. The interior is based on a combination of natural wood, stone and accent textiles. Materials interact with each other through shades and textures, creating a calm but characteristic space.
The master block has become one of the most expressive premises of the project. Its peculiarity is the elongated geometry, which we decided not to correct, but, on the contrary, to emphasise. Natural light from the windows passes through the entire space, visually revealing it and adding depth.
Subtle Japanese motifs appear here: a wooden bench, art opposite the bed, natural textures and a screen that creates a play of light and shadow. The open bath continues the logic of planning and forms a feeling of a relaxed resort environment. Light porcelain stoneware becomes a calm background for a deep shade of wood, preserving the overall natural palette of the interior.
