SOLNTSEVO

The Solntsevo project is a country house conceived as a kind of wooden casket, where materials are collected in a balanced composition. Warm wood contrasts with stainless steel in the kitchen, soft textiles and textured tiles, which appear in the decoration of the island and repeats in the storage area in the living room.

The basis of the interior was the work with the roofing slope. Its architecture set the rhythm of the whole space and allowed to build an expressive plasticity of the ceiling. We enhanced this effect with an abundance of wood, preserving the feeling of warmth and cosiness.

The veneer passes through the entire interior in a single line - it appears in the decoration of surfaces, furniture, details and individual architectural nodes, connecting different spaces of the house with each other.

It was important for us to preserve this integrity not only in the main rooms, but also in the guest bedroom, lobby and study. The same work with materials, proportions and details continues here, thanks to which the whole house is perceived as a single, calm and warm space.
